2024 FedEx Cup First Look: PGA Tour Predictions, Bets, Odds 1/4/24

This January, the race for the 2024 FedEx Cup will begin at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.

Before we dive into my pick to win the 2024 FedEx Cup let’s take a quick look at top five finishers in the 2023 FedEx Cup standings.

Now that we have determined who finished in the top five of the final 2023 FedEx Cup standings let’s shift our focus to my favorite bet to win the 2024 FedEx Cup.

Max Homa +2000

Since the beginning of July, Max Homa played nine tournemanets (DP World and PGA Tours combined). In those nine events just noted, Max Homa accumulated an impressive eight top 13 finishes, including a win at the 2023 Nedbank Challenge in November.

Due to the fact that Max Homa won the 2023 Nedbank Challenge I decided to take a hard look at the key player statistics for the event to see how Homa fared relative to the field.

Upon completion of four days of competition at the 2023 Nedbank Championship, relative to the field, Max Homa ranked fifth in strokes gained approach (1.62), third in strokes gained tee to green (2.83), fifth in GIR (greens in regulation-76.39%), and third in strokes gained putting (1.80).

In summary, I am backing Max Homa to win the 2024 FedEx Cup at odds of +2000.
