2025 Valero Texas Open Draftkings Player Selections
Corey Conners $10,100
The talented Canadian arrives at this week’s event on the heels of three consecutive top eight finishes on the PGA Tour, including a third-place result at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational three weeks ago.
Conners is currently ranked 20th in strokes gained off the tee (0.453), 18th in GIR (greens in regulation-70.56%), 21st in proximity to the hole (35’3), 18th in par four scoring average (3.96) and 20th in driving accuracy (65%) on the PGA Tour.
Corey Conners certainly checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Since 2018, Conners has played the Valero Texas Open six times. In those six tournaments just mentioned, Conners compiled five top 26 finishes, including two wins (2019, 2023).
Tommy Fleetwood $10,700
Tommy Fleetwood has accumulated four top 16 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the on the PGA Tour, including an impressive fifth-place result at the 2025 Genesis Invitational in February.
Fleetwood is currently ranked fourth in overall strokes gained (1.562), eighth in strokes gained tee to green (1.224), 12th in strokes gained approach (0.771), 16th in overall putting average (1.708) and 13th in par four scoring average (3.95) on the PGA Tour.
Additionally, Tommy Fleetwood finished seventh at the 2024 Valero Texas Open.
Daniel Berger $9,200
Since the beginning of November, Daniel Berger has played nine events on the PGA Tour. In those nine events just noted, Berger tallied seven top 25 finishes, including a second-place result at the 2025 Waste Management Phoenix Open seven weeks ago.
Jake Knapp $7,900
Jake Knapp has compiled five top 27 finishes in his last six tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including an impressive 12th place result at the 2025 Players Championship three weeks ago.
Knapp is currently ranked second in total birdies made (185), 13th in strokes gained putting (0.572) and 13th in par four birdie or better percentage (21.39%) on the PGA Tour.
Ben Griffin $7,900
Ben Griffin has amassed three top 18 finishes in his last six events played on the PGA Tour, including a fourth- place result at the 2025 Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches last month.
I fully expect Ben Griffin to continue his outstanding play at this week’s 2025 Valero Texas Open.
