Top Five Golfers in Scoring Average
- Jon Rahm 68.90
- Scottie Scheffler 69.10
- Jason Day 69.48

- Tony Finau 69.67
Now that we have determined who the top five golfers with regard to scoring average are on the PGA Tour (in this week’s field) let’s shift our attention to my favorite tournament matchup bet for this week’s 2023 Masters Tournament.
Tony Finau -130 over Xander Schauffele
Finau certainly checks the box for me when it comes to current form. Let me be more specific. Tony Finau has played eight tournaments on the PGA Tour since the beginning of January. In those eight events just noted, Finau has accumulated seven top 20 finishes, including a ninth place result at the 2023 Farmers Insurance Open.
I also like the fact that Tony Finau has played exceptionally well at Augusta National in the past. Since 2018, Tony Finau has played the Masters Tournament five times. In those five events just mentioned, Finau has accumulated three top ten finishes, including a fifth place result in 2019.
