RBC Canadian Open Predictions: PGA Tour Golf Bets, Odds 6/8/23

2023 RBC Canadian Open
2023-06-08 07:00:00 EDT

This week, the PGA Tour presents golf bettors with the 2023 RBC Canadian Open.

Before I dive into my favorite golf bets for the 2023 RBC Canadian Open let’s take a quick at the golf course and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a player’s success this week.

The 2023 RBC Canadian Open will be played at the Oakdale Golf & Country Club in Toronto, Canada. This golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,264 yards. In my opinion, this golf course is best described as a classical tree lined track that will likely require accuracy off the tee. It should also be noted that the Oakdale Golf & Country Club will be making it’s debut as a tournament host on the PGA Tour.

The key player statistics that I will be focusing on this week are strokes gained off the tee, strokes gained tee to green, GIR (greens in regulation), birdie or better percentage, and bogey avoidance.

Now let’s shift our attention to my favorite golf bets for the 2023 RBC Canadian Open.

Here is a golfer to consider placing on your card to finish in the top five.

Sam Burns +300

Sam Burns arrives at this week’s 2023 RBC Canadian Open on the heels of two consecutive top 16 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a sixth place result at the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge two weeks ago.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 RBC Canadian Open field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Sam Burns ranks fifth in strokes gained tee to green, third in strokes gained around the green, and ninth in birdie or better percntage.

Sam Burns also finished fourth at the 2022 RBC Canadian Open.

In summary, I am backing Sam Burns to post a top five finish at odds of +300.

Here are two golfers to consider placing on your card to finish in the top 20.

Michael Kim +280

Michael Kim has accumulated two top seven finishes in his last three tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including an impressive seventh place result at the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship four weeks ago.

Mark Hubbard +360

Since the beginning of April, Mark Hubbard has played six tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those six events just noted, Hubbard has accumulated four top 27 finishes, including an 11th place result at the 2023 RBC Heritage in April.
