LG Twins vs. Hanwha Eagles – 5/27/20 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

2020-05-27 05:30:00 EDT

The Hanwha Eagles and LG Twins meet Wednesday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.

The Hanwha Eagles need a win after losing five of their last seven games. The Hanwha Eagles have lost their last three games and are coming off a shutout loss where they had just three hits. In their last effort, Jung Jin-ho and  body combined for three hits while Chad Bell allowed zero runs and two hits in 3.1 innings of work. The Hanwha Eagles have lost 12 of their last 17 games overall.  Jang Min-jae gets the ball tonight for the Hanwha Eagles.

The LG Twins look for another win after winning four of their last five games. The LG Twins are enjoying a nice hot streak at the moment and have produced shutout victories in two of their last five games overall. In their last effort, Lee Chun-woong and Kim Hyun-soo combined for four hits and one RBI while Tyler Wilson allowed zero runs and two hits in six innings of work. The LG Twins have won 10 of their last 13 games overall. Jung Chan-heon gets the ball tonight for the LG Twins.

The LG Twins have won eight of the last 11 meetings against the Hanwha Eagles, which includes victories in the last two meetings. Ten of the last 13 meetings between the Eagles and Twins have produced single-digit run totals.

The LG Twins are playing their best baseball of the young season and their pitching staff just mowed things down last night. The Hanwha Eagles continue to pile up the losses and the lack of offense during this massive losing stretch is concerning when playing above-average teams in this league. The LG Twins have also dominated the Hanwha Eagles in past meetings, winning eight of the last 11 contests and having their way in majority of those matchups. There’s just not a whole lot to like about the Hanwha Eagles right now.

I’ll gladly side with the LG Twins and the reasonable price based on the form of both clubs.
