Lotte Giants vs. KIA Tigers – 6/2/20 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

2020-06-02 05:30:00 EDT

The KIA Tigers and Lotte Giants meet Tuesday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.

The KIA Tigers lost two of three games against the LG Twins and have lost four of their last five games overall. The KIA Tigers are coming off a game where they allowed 13 runs and 20 hits, and they’ve allowed 25 runs in their last three games. In their last effort, Han Seung-taek and Kim Sun-bin combined for four hits and three RBI while Drew Gagnon allowed five runs and seven hits in four innings of work. The KIA Tigers have won 11 of their last 19 games overall.

The Lotte Giants lost two of three games against the Doosan Bears and have lost four of their last five games overall. The Lotte Giants have cooled off big time from how they started the season, but they are coming off a victory where they scored eight runs on eight hits. In the latest effort, Lee Dae-ho and An Chi-hong combined for three hits and four RBI while Dan Straily allowed one run and seven hits in five innings of work. The Lotte Giants have lost 12 of their last 18 games overall.

The KIA Tigers have won each of the last six meetings against the Lotte Giants, which includes a three-game sweep a couple weeks ago. Eight of the last 11 meetings between the Tigers and Giants have produced single-digit run totals.

The KIA Tigers aren’t playing their best ball of the season right now, but they’ve been more trustworthy these last couple of weeks than the Lotte Giants. The Lotte Giants just can’t get out of their won way and the offense that started the season off so hot has cooled off and played a big role in these struggles. The KIA Tigers have also won six straight games against the Giants, which includes a sweep when these teams met a little over a week ago. Not much more left to say here.

I look for the KIA Tigers to draw first blood.
