The LG Twins could use a feel good victory after losing five of their last seven games. The LG Twins offense has scored four or less runs in four of their last seven games. The SK Wyverns look for another victory after splitting their last six games. The SK Wyverns pitching staff has allowed four or less runs in each of their last four games. In their last effort, Jamie Romak and Choi Jeong combined for five hits and four RBI while Lee Geon-wook allowed one run and three hits in five innings of work. The SK Wyverns have won eight of their last 11 games overall. Kim Tae-hoon gets the ball tonight for the SK Wyverns.
The LG Twins have won six of the last 10 meetings against the SK Wyverns, and that includes winning three of the five meetings this season. Five of the last 10 meetings between the Twins and Wyverns have produced double-digit run totals.
The LG Twins have been the better team up to this point in the season and have slightly had the edge in h2h meetings, but it’s the SK Wyverns who are playing the better baseball right now with wins in eight of their last 11 games. The LG Twins just can’t find offense at the moment and losses in five of their last seven games doesn’t make them a favorite you should be running to the window to get behind. The SK Wyverns will probably go back to being a long team before we know it based on what we saw earlier this season, but right now they’re one of the hotter teams in the league and the pitching ha improved drastically.
