The SK Wyverns need a win here after losing 10 of their last 14 games. The SK Wyverns pitching staff has allowed four or less runs in nine of their last 16 games. In their last effort, Chae Tae-in and Jeong Jin-gi combined for two hits and one RBI while Moon Seung-won allowed three runs and six hits in seven innings of work. The Doosan Bears are the team in much better form obviously and have owned the h2h in this series dating back to last season. The SK Wyverns are also a team we’ve blindly faded for much of the season, so this feels like an obvious selection. However, Young-ha has a 5.79 ERA and 1.85 WHIP with 40 strikeouts in 60.2 innings this season. Young-ha has allowed four or more runs in four of his last five starts. Geon-wook has a 2.95 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with 33 strikeouts in 42.2 innings this season and has won two of his last three starts. The SK Wyverns have to like their chances in this game to get a rare victory over the last two weeks.
Because of the starting pitching advantage, I’ll gladly take a shot with the SK Wyverns and the plus money.
