The Miami Marlins and the Baltimore Orioles meet in MLB action from Camden Yards on Wednesday night.

The Miami Marlins will attempt to build on their 7-3 win over the Orioles from Tuesday. Sandy Leon led the charge with a home run and three RBIs, going 2 for 5 at the dish while Brian Anderson and Lewin Diaz had multi-hit games with a solo home run while Starling Marte and Jesus Aguilar each had two hits and an RBI to finish off the scoring for the Fish in the win. Isan Diaz also chipped in a pair of hits with a double to finish off the offense for Miami in the victory. Sandy Alcantara got the win to improve to 6-9 on the year after allowing three runs on six hits while striking out five over six innings of work. Jordan Holloway will start here and is 2-3 with a 3.21 ERA and 32 strikeouts this season.

The Baltimore Orioles will look to bounce back from yet another frustrating loss on Tuesday. Cedric Mullins had two hits with a solo home run while Austin Hays added a solo home run as well and Ramon Urias chipped in an RBI of his own to finish off Baltimore’s scoring as a team in the loss. Trey Mancini added a pair of doubles and DJ Stewart added a double as well while Pedro Severino added a base hit to finish off the offense for the Orioles. Spenser Watkins took the loss, falling to 2-1 on the year after allowing four earned runs on nine hits over just four innings of work. Jorge Lopez will start here and is 2-12 with a 5.84 ERA and 88 strikeouts this season.

Miami is 10-4 in their last 14 Wednesday games and 1-5 in their last 6 interleague road games while the under is 7-3 in their last 10 Wednesday games. Baltimore is 4-9 in their last 13 home games and 20-48 in their last 68 game two matchups while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 Wednesday games. Miami is 20-5 in the last 25 meetings between these two teams.

I’m not rushing to the window to back Jordan Holloway on the road, but to be honest, it’s much better than the alternative in backing Jorge Lopez and the Orioles. One good start from Lopez isn’t going to change my mind that this guy has been batting practice for opposing teams this season and I think it could continue here. It says something when I think the Marlins tee off on you, but I just think that’s where we are here. Give me the Marlins in this spot.
