The Colorado Rockies and New York Mets meet Sunday in MLB action at Citi Field. Let’s preview this game and give out a pick and prediction.

The Colorado Rockies have scored 14 runs in their last 3 games and 4 or more runs in 5 of their last 7 games. The Rockies have won 7 of their last 8 games when scoring 4 or more runs. Kris Bryant leads the Rockies with 34 hits and 10 RBI, while Elias Diaz and Charlie Blackmon have combined for 62 hits and 27 RBI. Ryan Feltner gets the ball, and he is 2-2 with a 4.45 ERA and 30 strikeouts this season. This will be Feltner’s second career game against the Mets.

The New York Mets have scored 3 runs in their last 3 games and 3 or fewer runs in 4 straight games. The Mets have lost 6 of their last 7 games when scoring 3 or fewer runs. Brandon Nimmo leads the Mets with 39 hits and 14 RBI, while Jeff McNeil and Pete Alonso have combined for 63 hits and 39 RBI. Joey Lucchesi gets the ball, and he is 1-0 with a 3.86 ERA and 13 strikeouts this season. Lucchesi is 2-4 with a 4.47 ERA and 49 strikeouts in his career against the Rockies.

The Rockies are 28-65 in their last 93 road games and 4-1 in their last 5 overall. The Mets are 39-17 in their last 56 during game 3 of a series and 3-9 in their last 12 overall. The under is 10-4 in Rockies last 14 overall. The under is 8-2 in Mets last 10 home games. The Rockies are 22-45 in the last 67 meetings in New York and 1-5 in the last 6 meetings.

The New York Mets are the better team and at home, so I can understand why they're favorites. However, the Mets have underachieved up to this point and Joey Lucchesi isn't a pitcher I'm thrilled to lay nearly -200 juice. The Rockies' offense has picked up these last few days, and Ryan Feltner is in a similar tier as Lucchesi until proven otherwise. I'll take a shot with the big plus money.
