Best MLB Prop Bets Today (9/2/21)

Thursday isn’t a full slate of games but there is still plenty of value across the board in terms of MLB prop bets. Let’s take a look at the best MLB prop bets to make your Thursday a winning one.

San Francisco Giants under 4.5 runs (-125)

This total is too high for the San Francisco Giants because of their bats. Over the last four games, the Giants have scored only five runs total, and they are going to have issues against Eric Lauer. Over Lauer’s last three starts he has given up six runs total. Look for the Giants to finish with two or three runs in this game.

Tampa Bay Rays over 4.5 runs (-110)

Eduardo Rodriguez has struggled this season sitting with an ERA of 5.12. Over Rodriguez’s last two starts he has gone 10.2 innings total giving up eight runs. The Rays are the top offense in baseball, and they will run up the score.

Eduardo Rodriguez over 0.5 home runs given up (-105)

Rodriguez has had home runs be an issue this season and in his last start against the Cleveland Indians he gave up two home runs. The Rays have plenty of power in their bats and will hit at least one out of the park against Rodriguez.

Carlos Carrasco under 6.5 strikeouts (-105)

Carlos Carrasco hasn’t had more than six strikeouts in a game yet this season, so this total being set at 6.5 is a bit head-scratching. Carrasco went seven innings and finished with five strikeouts. Look for Carrasco to finish under 6.5 strikeouts.
