Toronto Blue Jays Betting Preview

The Toronto Blue Jays are 40-35 this season after they lost game one by a score of 7-1 on Friday night. Toronto allowed the first seven runs in the game and they never had a chance to make a comeback. The Blue Jays recorded seven hits in the game and they were led by Bichette, who went 3-4 with one RBI in the loss. Toronto started Turnbull, who allowed five hits and four earned runs over 2.0 innings for the loss, while Fluharty allowed three earned runs in relief.

Prior to this series, the Blue Jays won two out of three against the Diamondbacks, but lost all three against the Phillies before that. Toronto has lost five of their last seven games and they are currently third in the AL East standings. The Toronto pitching staff has a 4.27 ERA with a 1.25 WHIP and a .240 opponent batting average, while their offense has scored 321 runs with a .255 batting average and a .324 on base percentage this season. The projected starting pitcher for Toronto is Jose Berrios, who is 2-3 with a 3.81 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP over 87.1 innings pitched this season.

Chicago White Sox Betting Preview

The Chicago White Sox are 24-52 this year after they defeated Toronto by a score of 7-1 on Friday. Chicago led 7-0 in the third inning, which was enough for the win, but they didn’t score over the final six innings. The White Sox recorded nine hits in the game and they were led by Rojas, Benintendi, and Robert Jr., who all had two RBIs in the win. Chicago started Taylor, who was an opener, while Alexander allowed four hits and zero earned runs over 4.0 innings for the win.

Prior to this series, the White Sox lost all three against the Cardinals and all three against the Rangers. Chicago has lost eight of their last nine games and they are currently last in the AL Central standings. The Chicago pitching staff has a 4.20 ERA with a 1.40 WHIP and a .255 opponent batting average, while the offense has scored 267 runs with a .223 batting average and a .295 on base percentage this season. Miguel Vargas has led Chicago with 10 home runs and 32 RBIs, while Luis Robert has added seven home runs and 30 RBIs this year. Blue Jays vs White Sox Prediction

Chicago picked up a much needed win on Friday night to snap their losing streak and they have scored at least six runs in two straight games. The White Sox are 8-31 on the road this year, while the Blue Jays are 24-15 at home. Toronto is trying to keep some momentum, but they have struggled over the last week. The Jays are starting Berrios, who has allowed one earned run or fewer in three of his last four starts. The White Sox are going with Civale, who has allowed two earned runs or fewer in five straight starts. I do like how Civale has limited the damage, but Berrios should have little issue with this Chicago lineup. Take Toronto by at least two runs here.
