The NC Dinos look for another win after winning four of their last six games. The NC Dinos are riding a three-game winning streak where they’ve outscored opponents by a combined score of 20-7. In their last effort, Aaron Altherr and Na Sung-bum combined for four hits and five RBI while Koo Chang-mo allowed one run and three hits in seven innings of work. The NC Dinos have won 11 of their last 13 games overall. Lee Jae-hak gets the ball tonight for the NC Dinos.
The Kiwoom Heroes look for a win after losing four of their last six games. The Kiwoom Heroes have produced just two runs and nine hits in their last two games and have scored three or less runs in three of their last six games.. In their last effort, Lee Ji-young and Lee Taek-keun combined for three hits and two RBI while Lee Seung-ho allowed four runs and six hits in six innings of work. The Kiwoom Heroes have lost eight of their last 12 games overall. Han Hyun-hee gets the ball tonight for the Kiwoom Heroes.
The Kiwoom Heroes have won seven of the last 11 meetings against the NC Dinos, but they’ve lost the last two meetings. Seven of the last 10 meetings between the NC Dinos and Kiwoom Heroes have produced single-digit run totals.
The Kiwoom Heroes have had success against the NC Dinos in past meetings, but that’s about the only thing going for them in this series. The Kiwoom Heroes are piling up the losses over the last few weeks and the offense has done nothing in their last two games. The NC Dinos have comfortably been the best team since the start of the regular season and when ups and downs usually happen in baseball, they continue to rack up the victories at an unreal clip.
As I’ve mentioned many times before, there’s no reason to bet against the NC Dinos until there is… So, give me the NC Dinos again.
