KT Wiz Suwon vs. Hanwha Eagles – 6/28/20 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

2020-06-28 04:00:00 EDT

The Hanwha Eagles and KT Wiz Suwon meet Sunday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action at the Hanwha Life Eagles Park.

The Hanwha Eagles need a win after losing seven of their last 10 games and splitting their last six games. The Hanwha Eagles pitching staff has allowed seven or more runs in six of their last 11 games. In their last effort, Kang Kyung-hak and Oh Sun-jin combined for three hits and two RBI while Kim Min-woo allowed three runs and two hits in five innings of work. The Hanwha Eagles have lost 17 of their last 22 games overall. Chad Bell gets the ball tonight for the Hanwha Eagles.

The KT Wiz Suwon could use a feel good victory after losing four of their last seven games. The KT Wiz Suwon offense has produced a combined 30 runs and 33 hits in their last three games. In their last effort,  Hwang Jae-gyun and Hur Do-hwan combined for three hits and four RBI while William Cuevas allowed two runs and five hits in six innings of work. The KT Wiz Suwon have split their last eight games overall. Odrisamer Despaigne gets the ball tonight for the KT Wiz Suwon.

The KT Wiz Suwon are 6-2-2 in the last 10 meetings against the Hanwha Eagles, but they’ve lost two of the last three meetings. Eleven of the last 16 meetings between the Wiz Suwon and Eagles have produced single-digit run totals.

While the KT Wiz Suwon are playing the better baseball and have had the edge with six wins in the last 10 meetings over the Hanwha Eagles, I’m not trying to lay heavy juice with a losing team that can fall apart at any moment. Despaigne also isn’t a pitcher I’m thrilled to back, as the KT Wiz Suwon have lost four of his last five starts, and he has a 4.50 ERA along with a 1.35 WHIP in 60 innings. Instead, give me the under nine runs, as both of these teams can have issues scoring runs and eleven of the last 16 contests have produced single-digit run totals.

Give me the under nine runs.
