The Cleveland Guardians will start Ben Lively here and Lively is 3-2 with a 2.84 ERA and 38 strikeouts this season. This will be Lively’s second career start against the Angels. LA Angels vs Cleveland Guardians Prediction
I’m on the Guardians in this one. The Guardians are just flat out rolling right now, and have been hitting left-handed pitching fairly well over the last few weeks. Reid Detmers has not shown an ability to keep runs off of the board in a lot of his recent outings, and it makes it really hard to get behind him in any way, shape, or form. There are better options in Cleveland’s rotation but Lively’s been decent and I think the Guardians can back him up here. Give me the Guardians in this one.
