The Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers meet Thursday in MLB action from Dodger Stadium. This will be the finale in a lengthy five-game series. Arizona took a 5-2 loss on Monday in the opener of this set, then lost 6-5 in the first game of the doubleheader before a nightcap win. On Wednesday, the Diamondbacks scored three runs in the fourth inning in a 6-1 win. Starter Madison Bumgarner put up 6.0 innings with one earned on one hit and one walk with five Ks.
Starter for the Thursday finale will be Arizona’s Zac Gallen. In his 28 starts so far Gallen is 12-3 with a 2.52 ERA. In 164.0 innings total he has 46 earned on 108 hits and 43 walks with 167 Ks.
Over on the Dodgers’ side, they had eight hits and four errors in the game two loss Tuesday. In the Wednesday game, LA was out-hit 7-3 in the loss. Dustin May put up 4.0 innings in the start with five earned, seven hits and two walks.

PICK: I have to stay with the Dodgers here, but I’m probably not going near it. Urias has been on a nice roll lately (and most of the year) with just four earned in 19.0 innings over his last three starts on 12 hits and six walks combined. Urias has won all three of those, and he should be set up well here also. As for Gallen, he’s got five earned over his last three in 18.1 innings. Gallen should be able to post a decent line here but LA should still have the winning advantage.
