The Minnesota Twins are 2-2 this season after they lost game one of this series by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday afternoon. Prior to that loss, Minnesota did win two out of three games against the Royals to open the season. The Minnesota pitching staff has a 3.97 ERA with a 1.26 WHIP and a .238 opponent batting average. The Twins offense has scored 11 runs with a .188 batting average and a .291 on base percentage. Byron Buxton is batting .286 with 0 home runs and three RBI’s for the Twins. The projected starting pitcher for Minnesota is Chris Paddack, who was 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP over just five innings pitched last season.

Brewers Preview

The Milwaukee Brewers are 4-0 this year after they defeated Minnesota by a score of 3-2 in game one of the series. Prior to that victory, Milwaukee swept the Mets in three games to start the season. The Milwaukee pitching staff has a 2.25 ERA with a 0.92 WHIP and a .181 opponent batting average. The Brewers offense has scored 17 runs with a .288 batting average and a .363 on base percentage. Rhys Hoskins is batting .286 with one home run and four RBI’s for the Brewers. Milwaukee Brewers Team Facts

  • The home team has won each of the last eight games between the Twins and Brewers.
  • The Brewers have failed to cover the run line in each of their last six games as home favorites against American League opponents.
  • The ‘Inning 1 UNDER 0.5 runs’ market has hit in each of the Brewers’ last four games against American League opponents.
  • The Brewers have led after 3 innings in each of their last three games.
  • The Brewers have led after 5 innings in each of their last six day games.

Minnesota Twins Team Facts

  • The Twins have lost each of their last seven day games against NL Central opponents following a road loss.
  • The Twins have covered the run line in each of their last 10 games following a road loss.
  • The ‘Inning 1 UNDER 0.5 runs’ market has hit in each of the Twins’ last four day games against National League opponents.

Twins vs Brewers Betting Prediction

Milwaukee comes into this game looking to stay undefeated and they have allowed two runs or fewer in three of their first four games. The Brewers are going to start Joe Ross in this game, who hasn’t pitched in the MLB since 2021. Minnesota opened the season with two wins against Kansas City, but they have lost two straight and allowed 11 runs on Sunday. The Twins are starting Chris Paddack, who only pitched a handful of innings last season. This is an interesting pitching matchup, as neither starter has many innings under their belt in the last year or so. I think this game could go either way, but the Minnesota offense is definitely a worry, so I will take the Brewers here.
