Kodai Senga will take the mound for the Mets on Saturday. Across his 12 starts this year (the first 12 of his career) Senga is 6-3 with a 3.34 ERA and 79 Ks in 64.2 innings.
The Cardinals are 0-4 in their last four in game two of a series and the under is 12-5-1 in their last 18 overall. The under is 19-9 in St. Louis’ last 28 versus the NL East.

I’ll probably stay with the Mets here. Senga had a spotty outing versus the Blue Jays on June 4 (2.2 innings; three earned) but in two of his last three starts he’s combined for 14.0 innings, zero earned, four walks and three hits. On Friday New York had a couple of big innings early and cruised the rest of the way. Another good pitching performance like that and the Mets will be set.
