NY Mets vs Oakland Athletics Prediction

New York comes into this series after an embarrassing series in Seattle, where they scored just one run in three games. The Mets are 30-29 at home, while the Athletics are 21-39 on the road. Oakland has not been very good on the road this season, but they did pick up a series win in Toronto over the weekend. New York definitely has the pitching advantage with Blackburn on the mound, but it is a slight concern that he pitched for Oakland for most of this season, so they will have a great scouting report on him. Even after taking that into consideration, I think the Mets will have a nice bounce back here. My NY Mets vs Oakland Athletics prediction is for the Mets to win by at least two runs.
