The Toronto Blue Jays and the Oakland Athletics meet Wednesday in MLB action from O.co Coliseum. This will be the final installment in a three-game series. Toronto Blue Jays 

The Jays scored three runs in the top of the 10th inning during Monday’s opener, ultimately pulling off a 6-5 win. Cavan Biggio finished with two hits, two RBI and a run in the victory. On Tuesday Toronto scored six runs in the seventh inning on the way to a 7-1 win. Three runs came from George Springer, who had two hits. 

In the starter role for the Jays on Wednesday it’ll be Hyun Jin Ryu. This year in six starts Ryu is 3-1 with a 2.48 ERA and 23 Ks in 29.0 innings. Ryu is coming off a no-decision versus Colorado with two earned in 5.0 innings.

JP Sears will take the mound for the Wednesday start. Over his 27 starts this year Sears is 3-11 with a 4.60 ERA and 138 Ks in 146.2 innings. Sears is 2-4 with a 5.91 ERA in his last seven starts, striking out 37 in 35.0 innings.

As for Sears, he posted 6.0 clean frames versus the Angels his last time up but had 13 earned runs in his previous 10.0 innings. In the Tuesday game two, Toronto made it three wins in a row. The Blue Jays also have six or more runs in six straight games. If the bats stay hot Toronto should be set up well in game three.
