Pirates vs Diamondbacks Prediction
I’m on the Pirates in this one. I get the case to be made for the Diamondbacks because it’s no accident that Paul Skenes has a sub-2.00 ERA and a losing record on the year. Far more often than not, his offense has had issues getting him run support. However, there are times when 2–3 runs is enough for the Pirates’ ace, as he’s been that strong, and I think this is another one of those instances as the Diamondbacks look like a team that’s playing out the string. I’ll roll with Pittsburgh here.
