Texas Rangers vs Oakland Athletics Prediction

Oakland comes into this game after picking up a series win over Cincinnati, but they really blew a great chance to get the sweep on Thursday night. The Athletics are 25-41 on the road this year, while the Rangers are 34-31 at home. Texas has been a disappointment this year, but they do play their best baseball at home.

The Rangers are starting Jon Gray, who has bounced between starting and the bullpen, but he was shelled in Cleveland last time out. The A’s are starting JP Sears, who had a rough start last week, but he has been very good over the last few weeks. I don’t love taking Oakland on the road, but I do like backing Sears at this price. Take the Athletics here.
