The Chicago White Sox let the Nationals even the series up at one win apiece after a 4-3 loss in Tuesday’s matchup. The loss dropped the White Sox to 58-94 on the year, eliminated from playoff contention. Luis Robert Jr. has a team-high 37 home runs, 79 RBIs and 142 hits this season and Andrew Benintendi has a .266 batting average along with 142 hits of his own this season. Robert Jr. also has a team-high 36 doubles and 17 stolen bases while Andrew Vaughn has 76 RBIs this season. Michael Kopech will start here and is 5-12 with a 5.47 ERA and 133 strikeouts this season.

Nationals Even Series Up At One Win Apiece

The Washington Nationals snagged their win on Tuesday to get some measure of revenge. The win brought the Nationals to 67-85 on the year, also eliminated from playoff contention. Joey Meneses leads the Nationals with 158 hits and 84 RBIs with a .279 batting average while Lane Thomas has a team-high 25 home runs with 80 RBIs and 158 hits with both Thomas and Meneses posting a team-high 34 doubles as well. CJ Abrams also has 6 triples as well this season. Josiah Gray will start for the Nationals here and is 7-12 with a 4.07 ERA and 132 strikeouts this season.

I’m not in love with this game but I’ll side with the over here. I was on the Nationals when it was initially listed as Jesse Scholtens going, but with the switch to Michael Kopech, I think the over is just the better play as I think both offenses scratch a fair number of runs off of the opposing starter and once the bullpens get involved, I think we’re headed for an over here. Give me the over.
