The Memphis Grizzlies go for their sixth straight road win tonight when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Grizzlies have really been struggling lately with wins in just three of their last nine outings and things don't really seem to be getting much better as they head into tonight on the back of a 116-100 home loss against the Thunder. Mike Conley led the team with 20 points and nine assists, while Zach Randolph and Jon Leuer added 17 points apiece, but there was just no slowing down the Thunder who shot 56 percent from the field compared to the Grizzlies' 42 percent.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans were able to avoid a third straight loss on Wednesday by beating the Pistons by 111-106 in overtime. Jason Smith showed some toughness against the talented frontcourt of the Pistons and had himself 22 points and 16 rebounds, while Jrue Holiday added 19 points, but the game was won in overtime when Ryan Anderson made two clutch three pointers on his way to 22 points to send the Pelicans to 10-10 on the season and 6-5 at home.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 7-15-1 ATS in their last 23 games overall and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games following a double digit loss at home, while the Pelicans and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a win and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six home games.
Head to head, the Grizzlies are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings and the home team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven.
The Grizzlies and the Pelicans have already met back on Nov 6, and it was the Pelicans who triumped by 99-84. However, while a lot of basketball has been played since then, these teams still find themselves with almost identical records so you can expect a pretty close game tonight. With that being said, I can't be confident in taking either team tonight so I'm going with the visitors with the points here.
