The Line: Golden State Warriors -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Atlanta Hawks and Golden State Warriors will meet for the second and final time this season on Friday night. These teams played back on January 3, and the Warriors won 101-100.
Since then, the Hawks have been a complete joke, losing 12 of their last 13 games, including four in a row. In just their last five games, they’re averaging 102.4 points on 44.6 percent shooting and are allowing 110.2 points on 46.5 percent shooting. Their defense has slipped towards the bottom of the NBA, as they’ve allowed 100-plus points in nine of their last 10 games. On the road, the Hawks average 101.8 points and allow 105.3 points. They are 27-31-1 ATS overall and 11-19-1 ATS on the road.

The Warriors have won two straight games and return home after a six-game road trip. Their offense has still been in a bit of a funk lately, as they’re scoring 102.6 points but are shooting just 43.5 percent from the field and 33.1 percent from downtown in their last five contests. Those percentages are far lower than their season averages. Defensively, they’ve held six of their last nine opponents under 100 points. At home, the Warriors average 104.1 points and allow 97.4 points. They are 30-29-3 ATS overall and 12-14-2 ATS at home.
The Hawks are 5-1 ATS in their last six games against the Pacific, while the Warriors are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five home games.
The over is 7-1 in the last eight Hawks’ games, but the under has hit in five of the last six meetings between these two teams. Also, the underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings.
With their first game back at home in weeks, I like the Warriors to win by double digits.
