The Golden State Warriors play host to the Toronto Raptors at the Chase Center on Sunday night.

The Toronto Raptors have been in terrible form to start the season as they’ve lost six of their first eight games, but they will be looking to build some momentum after snapping a three-game skid with a 144-123 road win over the Kings on Friday. Fred VanVleet led the team with 34 points and seven assists, Chris Boucher added 23 points off the bench, Norman Powell scored 22 points while Pascal Siakam chipped in with 17 points, nine rebounds and 12 assists. As a team, the Raptors shot a sizzling 58 percent from the field and 20 of 39 from the 3-point line as they allowed 43 points in the first quarter to trail by as many as 19 points early, before dominating the game the rest of the way on both ends of the floor.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in great form lately as they’ve won five of their last seven games and they will be looking to stay hot after taking down the Clippers in a 115-105 home win on Friday. Stephen Curry led the team with 38 points and 11 assists on 13 of 24 shooting, Andrew Wiggins scored 16 points while Eric Paschall chipped in with 12 points off the bench. As a team, the Warriors shot 48 percent from the field and a sizzling 20 of 41 from the 3-point line as they rallied back from a 22-point deficit to blow past the in-form Clippers behind a monster night from Curry who drained nine 3-pointers.

Looking at the betting trends, the Raptors are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record, 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games overall. The Warriors are 5-17 ATS in their last 22 Sunday games and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games playing on one days rest.

Head to head, the over is 11-4 in the last 15 meetings overall, the Raptors are 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the Raptors are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Golden State.

Kyle Lowry sat out Friday games for personal reasons, but he is expected to be available on Sunday which is a big boost for the Raptors. The Warriors didn’t look good in their first two games of the season which were both blowout losses, but they’ve suddenly become one of the hottest teams in the league with Curry expectedly leading the way. This really could go either way as the Raptors haven’t been consistent at all this season, but the warriors are caught fire in their last seven games or so and I think they’ll stay hot with another win here.
