The Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors collide at the Chase Center on Tuesday night.

The Boston Celtics have been in a slump lately as they’ve lost five of their past seven games and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after falling just short to the Lakers in a 96-95 loss on Saturday. Jayson Tatum led the team with 30 points, nine rebounds and three assists on 12 of 18 shooting, Jaylen Brown added 28 points on 13 of 19 shooting while Daniel Theis chipped in with 14 points and seven rebounds. As a team, the Celtics shot 48 percent from the field and a miserly six of 21 from the 3-point line as they held the Lakers to just 19 points in the third quarter to lead by eight points, before going ice-cold at the worst time as they managed just 17 points in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in pretty good shape lately as they’ve won five of their past eight games and they will be looking to stay hot after making light work of the Pistons in a 118-91 home win on Saturday. Stephen Curry led the team with 28 points and seven assists on 11 of 17 shooting, Andrew Wiggins added 20 points while Kelly Oubre Jr. chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 52 percent from the field and 17 of 36 from the 3-point line as they came out hot and never looked in danger after outscoring the Pistons by 64-45 in the first half.

Looking at the betting trends, the Celtics are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games as a road favorite and 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games against a team with a winning home record. The Warriors are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 8-20-1 ATS in their last 29 games following a win of more than 10 points.

Head to head, the under is 20-7 in the last 27 meetings overall, the Celtics are 8-3-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings overall and the Celtics are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Golden State.

Marcus Smart will once again be out with a sprained left calf so the Celtics will once again be shorthanded in this one. The Warriors have been in decent shape and they looked impressive in their dominant win over the Pistons in their last outing. This one is tough to pick, but the Celtics have struggled without the underrated Marcus Smart and I think that will continue here as I have the Warriors getting the win here.
