The Cleveland Cavaliers travel to the Footprint Center to battle the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have split their first six games of the season, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting stopped in their tracks by the Lakers in a 113-101 road loss last night. Evan Mobley led the team with 23 points on 10 of 16 shooting, Darius Garland and Ricky Rubio each scored 18 points while Lauri Markkanen chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Cavaliers shot just 42 percent from the field and 12 of 34 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Lakers in a tightly contested first half, before running out of gas in the fourth quarter where they managed just 16 points. Collin Sexton had a night to forget as he finished with just nine points on two of nine shooting while Kevin Love scored just four points on two of seven shooting.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have really struggled to get going this season as they’ve lost three of their first four games and they will be hoping to end a two-game skid after falling short to the Kings in a heartbreaking 110-107 home loss on Wednesday. Devin Booker led the team in scoring with 31 points and eight assists, DeAndre Ayton racked up 21 points with 21 rebounds while Mikal Bridges chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Suns shot 45 percent from the field and a miserly six of 22 from the field as they got off to a solid start and took an eight-point lead into halftime, before going ice-cold in the third quarter where they managed a measly 15 points. Things went from bad to worse in the fourth quarter as they rallied back from a 13-point deficit to tie the game late, only to see the Kings’ Harrison Barnes drain the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to steal the game.

Looking at the betting trends, the Cavaliers are 9-24 ATS in their last 33 road games, 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a losing record and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days’ rest. The Suns are 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games, 46-22-1 ATS in their last 69 games against a team with a winning record and 1-7 ATS in their last eight games overall.

Head to head, the over is 6-2 in the last eight meetings overall and the Cavaliers are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings in Phoenix.

The Cavaliers were playing some decent basketball before last night’s loss to the Lakers, so they’re a chance of pulling off the upset here, especially against a Suns team who haven’t looked like themselves so far this season. However, the Suns will be well-rested as they haven’t played since Wednesday and you just know they’ll turn things around sooner rather than later, but this is just too many points to be laying in this spot. Give me the Cavaliers with the points in a game that could be closer than expected.
