The Los Angeles Clippers play host to the Toronto Raptors at the Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday night.

The Toronto Raptors have been in red-hot form as they’ve won nine of their last 13 games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting stopped by the Nuggets in a 118-113 road loss on Monday. Fred VanVleet led the team with 21 points and 14 assists, Pascal Siakam added 19 points while Jakob Poeltl chipped in with 18 points, nine rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Raptors shot 50 percent from the field and 10 of 27 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 34 points in the first quarter to lead for a majority of the game, until the fourth quarter where the Nuggets exploded for 35 points to snatch the game from them in the end.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been in terrible form as they’ve lost seven of their last 10 games and they were on a five-game losing streak before they snapped out of it with a 135-129 win over the Grizzlies on Sunday. Paul George led the team with 42 points, 11 rebounds and three assists, Kawhi Leonard added 34 points with 10 rebounds and four assists while Eric Gordon chipped in with 17 points on six of seven shooting off the bench. As a team, the Clippers shot 52 percent from the field and 12 of 29 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in deep trouble when they allowed the Grizzlies to explode for 51 points in the third quarter to put them behind by 16 points, but they flipped a switch and dominated the fourth quarter by 38-17 to cap off one of the craziest games of the season.

Looking at the betting trends, the Raptors are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 5-1 ATS in their last six games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. The Clippers are 1-5 ATS in their last six home games, 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a losing record and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the under is 16-5 in the last 21 meetings in Los Angeles and the Raptors are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings in Los Angeles.

The Raptors come into this meeting with plenty of winning momentum as they were on fire before they ran into the surging Nuggets on Monday. Meanwhile, the Clippers were stuck on a five-game losing streak before they finally earn the much-needed win over the depleted Grizzlies on Sunday. The Raptors are just about at full strength for this one, while the Clippers are going to be missing Norman Powell off the bench, so I’ll stick with the more consistent Raptors to take care of business in this spot.
