Tyrese Maxey led the team with 42 points on 13 of 26 shooting, Tobias Harris added 22 points with seven assists while De’Anthony Melton chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the 76ers shot 52 percent from the field and 12 of 33 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble in this one after falling behind by 11 points in the third quarter, but they responded with a 41-point explosion in the fourth quarter to escape with the narrow win in the end. After this back-to-back set against the Bulls, the Sixers will face the Knicks and Jazz.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last eight games, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting thrashed by the Pacers in a 120-104 loss on Thursday. Patrick Williams led the team in scoring with 22 points, DeMar DeRozan added 21 points with five assists while Coby White chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Bulls shot just 41 percent from the field and seven of 27 from the 3-point line, but they leaked 37 points in the first quarter and trailed by as many as 25 points in what ended up being a big loss. The Bulls just had no answer for the Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton who torched them for 21 points and 20 assists.

The 76ers come into this game as the team in better form, but they open as the underdogs here as the Bulls have won three of five games during this six-game homestand. These teams met less than two weeks ago and it was the Bulls who won by 108-104, so with the 76ers playing their second game of a back to back set, I’m going with the Bulls to get the narrow win at home in this spot.
