The Sacramento Kings invade the Ball Arena to do battle with the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night.

The Sacramento Kings have been in a slump as they’ve lost five of their past eight games and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game slide after getting blown out by the Nuggets in a 128-110 home loss on Thursday. Domantas Sabonis led the team with 33 points, 14 rebounds and five assists, De’Aaron Fox added 20 points on nine of 18 shooting while Harrison Barnes chipped in with 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Kings shot 50 percent from the field and nine of 29 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Nuggets in a tight contest until the Nuggets opened the fourth quarter on a 22-11 run to pull away and make it a blowout in the end.

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets have been in red-hot form as they’ve won six of their last seven games overall and they will be aiming to build on their current four-game win streak after blowing past the Kings on Thursday. Will Barton led the team with 31 points on 11 of 17 shooting, Nikola Jokic tallied 25 points with 12 rebounds, nine assists and four steals, while Monte Morris chipped in with 19 points on seven of nine shooting. As a team, the Nuggets shot a healthy 55 percent from the field and 15 of 35 from the 3-point line as they poured in 35 points in the first quarter to jump out to the early lead which they kept until the fourth quarter where they exploded for 36 points to win comfortably.

Looking at the betting trends, the Kings are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 road games, 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a double-digit loss at home. The Nuggets are 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the over is 6-0 in the last six meetings in Denver and the Kings are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall.

The Kings are still missing Terence Davis and they could be without Richaun Holmes who is listed as day to day, while the Nuggets are still without Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. while Zeke Nnaji is questionable. It’s always tough trying to beat the same team twice in a row, but the Nuggets made it look easy on Thursday and I think they should be too good once again.
