The Clips are on a three-game winning streak on the road after beating the Spurs twice prior to the Kings game. In a win over Sacramento, Kawhi Leonard led the team with 34 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks on 14 of 18 shooting, James Harden added 26 points with six assists and five steals, Paul George scored 19 points while Terance Mann chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Clippers shot 53 percent from the field and 14 of 28 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Kings from the start, pouring in 72 points in the first half to build a 25-point lead, before they cruised in the second half.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in a major slump as they’ve lost eight of their last 10 games and they will be hoping to bounce back after coming up painfully short to the Kings in a 124-123 road loss on Tuesday. Andrew Wiggins led the team with 29 points, 10 rebounds and three assists on 11 of 18 shooting, Stephen Curry added 29 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists while Klay Thompson chipped in with 20 points and nine rebounds. As a team, the Warriors shot 48 percent from the field and 17 of 41 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates and poured in 72 points in the first half to build a 24-point lead, only to go ice-cold in the second half to lose in the final seconds as the Kings’ Malik Monk drained the game-winner with just 7.1 seconds left on the clock.

I get why the Warriors are favored at home and they will turn things around sooner rather than later, but the Clippers have the momentum and I think they can pull off the minor upset despite playing their second game of a back to back set.
