Anfernee Simons led the team with 41 points and seven assists on 15 of 28 shooting, Deandre Ayton added 23 points with 16 rebounds while Jerami Grant chipped in with 20 points. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 45 percent from the field and 14 of 30 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start and had to work hard to cut an 18-point deficit to just one point, only to miss the game winner at the buzzer. The Blazer will face the Kings after this one and then will play a back-to-back set against the Spurs.

Stephen Curry led the team with 30 points and seven assists on nine of 18 shooting, Jonathan Kuminga added 22 points on nine of 11 shooting while Klay Thompson chipped in with 20 points on eight of 17 shooting. As a team, the Warriors shot 48 percent from the field and 18 of 45 from the 3-point line, but they did most of their damage in the third quarter where they poured in 38 points to lead by as many as 23 points in this one. The Warriors will take on the Nuggets after this game.

The Trail Blazers have struggled all season and their confidence took another gut shot after falling painfully short to the slumping Wizards in a tough loss on Thursday. In contrast, the Warriors are starting to heat up now and they looked like their old selves in last night’s easy win over the Wizards. The line is a bit hefty here, but the Warriors are looking good for the first time this season and I think they can maintain their momentum with another win and cover in front of their home crowd.
