The NY Knicks and Indiana Pacers meet Sunday in Game 4 East Second Round NBA Playoffs action at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Here’s a Indiana Pacers vs NY Knicks Prediction.

NY Knicks Betting Preview

The NY Knicks look to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time in these playoffs to take a 3-1 series lead. The Knicks are 2-2 SU on the road in these playoffs. The NY Knicks are averaging 111.9 points on 46.9 percent shooting and allowing 110.9 points on 46.5 percent shooting. Indiana Pacers vs NY Knicks Injury Report

The Pacers will remain without Bennedict Mathurin, who is out for the season with a shoulder injury and hasn’t played since March 5. Tyrese Haliburton is questionable with an ankle issue, but he’s been questionable previously with a back issue and still played, so expect him to push through it. Aaron Nesmith is questionable with a shoulder issue. Julius Randle, Bojan Bogdanovic and Mitchell Robinson are out for the season for the Knicks. O.G. Anunoby is out with a hamstring injury he suffered in game 2.

Why the Indiana Pacers will win

  • The Knicks have lost each of their last 10 Eastern Conference Semifinals road games against Central Division opponents.
  • The Pacers have won each of their last nine games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
  • The Pacers have covered the spread in eight of their last nine day games against Eastern Conference opponents.
  • The Knicks have failed to cover the spread in seven of their last nine day games against Central Division opponents that held a winning record.

Why the New York Knicks will win

  • The Knicks have won five of their last six games as road underdogs following a loss.
  • The Pacers have lost seven of their last eight playoff games against Atlantic Division opponents.
  • The Knicks have covered the spread in each of their last six games following a road loss.
  • The Pacers have failed to cover the spread in each of their last four Eastern Conference Semifinals home games.

Total Points Facts

  • Seven of the Pacers’ last eight home games have gone OVER the total points line.
  • Each of the Knicks’ last four playoff road games against Central Division opponents have gone UNDER the total points line.

Indiana Pacers vs NY Knicks Prediction

I wouldn’t talk you off the ledge if looking at the Knicks and points, as all 3 games have been tight, and both teams have to feel like they could have won all 3 games. However, as I’ve said in the past, the longer this series goes, the more it favors the Pacers. The Knicks were already playing Brunson, DiVincenzo, Hart and Anunoby into the ground in these playoffs. Now, the Knicks are without Anunoby, Brunson is hobbled, and they recently lost Robinson for the season. The Knicks are running out of guys and those minutes are adding up. The Pacers have seen 30 of their 52 wins this season come at home. I’m banking on the Pacers being the healthier, fresher team and that being the difference in the end. I’ll lay the points with the Pacers.
