As a team, the Pacers shot 49 percent from the field and 15 of 39 from the 3-point line as they poured in 34 points in the first quarter to hang within striking distance of the Grizzlies in the first half, but they started to rack up the turnovers in the fourth quarter to allow the Grizzlies to run away with it in the end.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been in decent form as they’ve won six of their last 10 games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after routing the Warriors in a 114-101 road win on Monday. Kawhi Leonard led the team with 23 points, eight rebounds and four assists on nine of 14 shooting, Bennedict Mathurin added 17 points with seven rebounds off the bench while Kris Dunn tallied 16 points with seven rebounds and seven assists. As a team, the Clippers shot 49 percent from the field and nine of 31 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start and scored just 19 points in the first quarter to trail by as many as 17 points, but that all changed in the second half where the Clippers dominated the Warriors by 72-45 to win by double digits in the end.

The Pacers are still missing Ivica Zubac, Aaron Nesmith and Pascal Siakam with Andrew Nembhard listed as day to day, while the Clippers have ruled out Bradley Beal again with John Collins listed as day to day. The Pacers enter this contest as one of the coldest teams in the league right now and they didn’t look good at all in their blowout loss to the slumping Grizzlies on Sunday, so it’s no surprise at all to see the Clippers open as heavy favorites at home. The Clippers cooled off a bit following the trade of James Harden, but they are starting to heat up again and they should have no trouble running past this ice-cold Pacers squad who can’t be anyone right now.
