As a team, the Jazz shot 48 percent from the field and 16 of 37 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start, allowing 40 points in the first quarter and things only got ugly in the second quarter where they fell behind by as many as 24 points. Keyonte George had a rough game as he shot just two of 11 from the field and one of five from the 3-point line to finish with just nine points and four turnovers. The Jazz will face the Warriors after this game.
Los Angeles Clippers
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been a team on the rise as they’ve won four of their last five games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after outlasting the Nuggets in a 102-100 home win over the Nuggets last night. Paul George led the team with 28 points, James Harden added 20 points with eight assists while Ivica Zubac chipped in with 14 points and 15 rebounds. As a team, the Clippers shot just 37 percent from the field and seven of 33 from the 3-point line as they fought their way back from an early 17-point deficit before they played great defense to hold the Nuggets scoreless for the last 55 seconds to escape with the gritty win at home. The Clippers will meet the Cavaliers and Suns after this one.
