The Houston Rockets and the Memphis Grizzlies do battle at the FedExForum on Thursday night.

The Houston Rockets have been in great form as they were riding a season-high six-game win streak before getting stopped by the Thunder in a 104-87 road loss last night. Eric Gordon led the team with 22 points and four assists, Victor Oladipo added 19 points while DeMarcus Cousins chipped in with 10 points. As a team, the Rockets shot just 38 percent from the field and 12 of 46 from the 3-point line as they struggled early to fall behind by 11 points at halftime, before going ice-cold in the third quarter where they managed just 15 points to fall behind by as many as 30 points.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in great shape as they were riding a seven-game win streak before getting routed by the Pacers in a 134-116 road loss on Tuesday. Dillon Brooks led the team with 25 points on 10 of 18 shooting, Desmond Bane added 16 points and five assists off the bench while Xavier Tillman chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 45 percent from the field and nine of 25 from the 3-point line, but they were poor defensively to start the game and were always trailing after allowing the Pacers poured on 71 points in the first half. Ja Morant has been in terrific form this season, but he couldn’t get anything going as he finished with just 10 points on two of 10 shooting.

Looking at the betting trends, the Rockets are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games, 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a winning record and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games playing on zero day’s rest. The Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 7-1 ATS in their last eight games overall.

Head to head, the under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings in Memphis and the Rockets are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings overall.

John Wall was rested for the Rockets last night, but he is expected to be available in this one which is great news for the Rockets. The Grizzlies were one of the hottest teams in the league before getting stopped by the Pacers on Tuesday, so we could be in for a close one. You could make an argument for either team here, but with the line so short and the Rockets playing on zero days’ rest, I’m taking the Grizzlies at home.
