Miami Heat vs Brooklyn Nets 3/26/22 NBA Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Miami Heat play host to the Brooklyn Nets at the FTX Arena on Saturday night.

The Brooklyn Nets have been in great form as they’ve won six of their last eight games, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting routed by the Grizzlies in a 132-120 road loss on Wednesday. Kyrie Irving led the team in scoring with 43 points and eight assists on 15 of 27 shooting, Kevin Durant added 35 points with 11 rebounds and eight assists while Andre Drummond chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Nets shot 49 percent from the field and nine of 25 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 42 points in the third quarter to rally back from an early 18-point deficit, only to go ice-cold in the fourth quarter where they scored just 16 points to allow the Grizzlies to slip away in the end.  

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost four of their last six games overall and they will be hoping to put an end to a three-game skid after last night’s 111-103 loss to the Knicks. Jimmy Butler led the team with 30 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, Bam Adebayo and Kyle Lowry each scored 17 points while Max Strus chipped in with 11 points off the bench. As a team, the Heat shot 50 percent from the field and 12 of 33 from the 3-point line as they dominated most of the game to lead by 17 points, only to get run down in a nightmare fourth quarter where they were outscored by 38-15.

Looking at the betting trends, the Nets are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 road games, 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games playing on two days’ rest and 6-13-1 ATS in their last 20 games against a team with a winning record. The Heat are 0-4 ATS in their last four home games, 1-5 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days’ rest and 0-5 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall and the Nets are 5-2-1 ATS in the last eight meetings in Miami.

The Nets should have a couple of reinforcements ready for this one as Seth Curry and Goran Dragic are both listed as probable, while the Heat will be without Tyler Herro, but they should have Victor Oladipo and Gabe Vincent back in the lineup as they were both rested last night. The Nets were on fire before they got stopped in their tracks by the surging Grizzlies in their last outing, while the Heat have really cooled off with three losses on the trot and their confidence took a major hit after blowing a massive lead to the Knicks last night. The Nets are coming into this game healthy and with plenty of momentum and I think they can take advantage of the Heat while they’re still out of sorts.
