The New York Knicks travel to the Fiserv Forum to take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night.

The New York Knicks have been in great form as they’ve won eight of their past 11 games and they will be looking to stay hot after taking down the Pistons in a 114-104 home win on Thursday. Julius Randle led the team with 27 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists, RJ Barrett added 21 points with five assists while Elfrid Payton chipped in with 20 points. As a team, the Knicks shot 54 percent from the field and nine of 27 from the 3-point line as they, but what set up the win was their defense as they held the Pistons to just 19 points in the second quarter to take a 13-point lead at halftime, before running away with it in the third quarter where they led by as many as 20 points.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been on a nice run themselves as they’ve won six of their past seven games and they will be hoping to stay hot after sneaking past the Grizzlies in a thrilling 112-111 road win on Thursday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 26 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, Khris Middleton added 22 points with 10 rebounds and four assists while Jrue Holiday and Pat Connaughton each scored 15 points. As a team, the Bucks shot 44 percent from the field and 10 of 34 from the 3-point line as they squandered an early 18-point lead, before escaping with the narrow win as Holiday drained the game-winning step back jumper with just 2.0 seconds remaining.

Looking at the betting trends, the Knicks are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Bucks are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a win.

Head to head, the Knicks are 0-3-1 ATS in the last four meetings in Milwaukee and the Knicks are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall.

The Knicks could be shorthanded once again as Austin Rivers has been ruled out for personal reasons while Derrick Rose and Taj Gibson are listed as questionable. The Bucks are just about at full strength with Holiday back in the lineup and fresh off a game-winner, so they’re ready to hit the ground running the second half of the season. There’s plenty of deserved buzz around the Knicks who have been playing well lately, but with Rose probably out, I think the Bucks should be too good in this one.
