The Washington Wizards travel to the Fiserv Forum to take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night.

The Washington Wizards have been in a terrible slump as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting thrashed by the Rockets in a 115-97 road loss on Monday. Kristaps Porzingis led the team with 22 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks, Rui Hachimura added 16 points while Corey Kispert and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope each scored 13 points. As a team, the Wizards shot just 41 percent from the field and six of 29 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 39 points in the first quarter to lead by as many as 23 points, but they couldn’t keep up the pace and managed just 34 points in the second half to lose big in the end as they had no answer for the Rockets’ Christian Wood who drained a career-high eight 3-pointers.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been in red-hot form as they’ve won nine of their last 11 games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the Bulls in a 126-98 home win on Tuesday. Jrue Holiday led the team with 27 points and seven assists, Giannis Antetokounmpo added 25 points with 17 rebounds and five assists while Pat Connaughton chipped in with 14 points off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot a sizzling 61 percent from the field and 12 of 28 from the 3-point line as they dominated this one right from the start and poured in 33 points in the first quarter to take the early double-digit lead, before running away with it in the second half to make it a blowout.

Looking at the betting trends, the Wizards are 8-20-1 ATS in their last 29 road games, 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a winning record and 17-36-2 ATS in their last 55 games overall. The Bucks are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a losing record and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall.

Head to head, the over is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings overall.

The Wizards are going to be shorthanded in this one as Kyle Kuzma has been ruled out, while the Bucks have ruled out Khris Middleton with a wrist injury. Here we have two teams headed in opposite directions as the Wizards have been ice-cold lately and they just blew a 23-point lead to slumping Rockets, while the Bucks have reeled off nine wins in their last 11 games and are coming into this one fresh off a 28-point win over the Bulls. The line is a little hefty, but the Bucks are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall and I think that trend continues here with another big win.
