The Milwaukee Bucks invade Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks on Sunday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks will be gunning for a second straight win after making light work of the shorthanded Warriors in a 138-99 blowout on Christmas day. Khris Middleton drained six 3-pointers on his way to 31 points and five assists, Giannis Antetokounmpo added 15 points with 13 rebounds and four assists while Donte DiVincenzo and DJ Augustin each scored 13 points. As a team, the Bucks shot a healthy 54 percent from the field and 20 of 37 from the 3-point line and the win was never in doubt as they scored at least 33 points in every quarter while outscoring the Warriors by 72-43 in a dominant second half.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks are still looking for their first win of the season after last night’s 109-89 loss to the 76ers. Julius Randle led the team with 25 points, seven rebounds and three assists, Alec Burks scored 22 points off the bench while Mitchell Robinson chipped in with 11 points and nine rebounds. As a team, the Knicks shot just 38 percent from the field and eight of 29 from the 3-point line as they hung in the contest in the first half. However, they came out of halftime looking flat and got punished as they were always trailing after scoring just 14 points in the third quarter. The Knicks’ backcourt was particularly disappointing as RJ Barrett scored just 10 points on two of 15 shooting while Elfrid Payton finished scoreless on zero of six shooting.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 road games, 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Knicks are 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days rest, 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 5-0-1 ATS in their last six Sunday games.

Head to head, the under is 12-4 in the last 16 meetings in New York, the Bucks are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the Bucks are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in New York.

The Bucks are just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 road games, but they looked unstoppable against the Warriors in their last outing and I just don’t know what the Knicks can do to slow them. The Knicks might be able to hang around early, but they’re playing this one on zero days rest, so I have the Bucks getting the win and cover in this one.
