The Oklahoma City Thunder have been in great form as they’ve won nine of their last 12 games overall, but they will be eager to bounce back in this one after having their six-game win streak snapped by the Spurs in a 132-118 road loss on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 31 points on 12 of 22 shooting, Jalen Williams added 26 points while Chet Holmgren chipped in with 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Thunder shot 49 percent from the field and nine of 31 from the 3-point line as they had to work hard to get the lead in the fourth quarter, only to go ice-cold when it mattered, scoring just five points in the final 3:46 to allow the Spurs to pull away in the end.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been in decent shape as they’ve won seven of their last 11 games overall, but they will be hoping for a better performance in this one after falling short to the struggling Rockets in a 118-109 loss last night. Kevin Durant led the team with 30 points, nine rebounds and three blocks, Devin Booker added 24 points with five assists while Royce O’Neale chipped in with 20 points and 10 rebounds. As a team, the Suns shot 45 percent from the field and nine of 29 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and had to work hard to cut an early 20-point deficit to just one point, only to get outscored by 19-11 in the final 6:32 to end up with the disappointing loss at home. The Suns will meet the Nuggets and Raptors after this one.

Suns vs Thunder Prediction
The Thunder have been one of the form teams in the league as they were in red-hot form before they got stopped in their tracks by the Spurs in a surprising loss on Thursday and you could say the same about the Suns who were rolling before last night’s loss to the slumping Rockets. Both teams need a win to get back on track, but with the line so short, I’m happy to go with the Thunder to take advantage of a banged up Suns team playing their second game of a back to back set.
