As a team, the Spurs shot 52 percent from the field and 19 of 39 from the 3-point line as they caught fire early and poured in 69 points in the first half to keep pace with the Thunder in a close contest, until they closed the final 3:46 on a 16-5 run to pull away and escape with the impressive upset win at home.

The Pacers were starting to build some momentum with four wins in five games, before they got dismantled by the Pelicans in an ugly loss on Friday, while the Spurs were absolutely ice-cold before they pulled off a big upset against the red-hot Thunder as double-digit underdogs. The Spurs looked great in their surprising win in their last outing, but that performance has been a real outlier for them, as they’ve been one of the worst teams all season. Sure, the Spurs can certainly earn another upset if they play as well as they did on Thursday, but the Pacers are the more consistent team and I think they take care of business in this one.
