The Portland Trailblazers welcome the Golden State Warriors to the Moda Center on Wednesday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in pretty good shape lately as they’ve won seven of their past 11 games, but they will be looking to bounce back after having their three-game win streak halted by the Lakers in a 117-91 road loss on Sunday. Eric Paschall led the team in scoring with 18 points off the bench, Stephen Curry added 16 points with seven assists while Kelly Oubre Jr. scored 14 points, but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Warriors shot just 40 percent from the field and eight of 34 from the 3-point line, but this game was over before halftime as the Warriors were already trailing by 20 points by the end of the first quarter. Draymond Green scored just six points while Andrew Wiggins scored just three points in a game where the Warriors trailed by as many as 35 points.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trailblazers were in a bit of a rut during their four-game slide, but they will be feeling much better now after taking down the Hornets in a 123-111 home win on Monday. Carmelo Anthony drained six 3-pointers on his way to 29 points off the bench, Damian Lillard added 23 points with 10 assists, Robert Covington scored 21 points on eight of 11 shooting while Gary Trent Jr. chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Trailblazers shot 53 percent from the field and a sizzling 24 of 46 from the 3-point line as they rallied back from an early 11-point deficit, before running away with it in the second half where they poured in 64 points to finish in a flurry behind a vintage performance from Anthony.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss of more than 10 points and 1-5 ATS in their last six games playing on two days’ rest. The Trailblazers are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a win and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 25-10 in the last 35 meetings overall and the over is 17-5 in the last 22 meetings in Portland.

The Warriors were playing some of their best basketball of the season before getting stopped in their tracks by the Lakers on Sunday, while the Trailblazers are coming into this one off a nice win over the Hornets thanks to a vintage performance from Carmelo Anthony. It’s hard to split these two teams at this stage, but the Trailblazers have been better team to bet on recently and I like Lillard at home.
