We have the Western Conference duel in Minneapolis on Sunday, February 4, and here you can take a look at the Rockets vs Timberwolves Player Prop Bets. The Houston Rockets hope to avoid the fifth road loss in six games, while the Minnesota Timberwolves look to avoid the fourth home defeat in five games.

Rockets vs Timberwolves Player Prop Bets – Anthony Edwards Over 2.5 Threes Made (-120)

Anthony Edwards is Minnesota’s top scorer this season as he averages 25.5 ppg, while he has a 38.6% from beyond the arc, the highest percentage in his career. Edwards is making 2.5 threes per contest this year, but after scoring 3+ in four consecutive games, he failed to do so in the last two.

In those two outings, Edwards combined for only three triples, and I am backing him to be more effective from downtown against Houston. In 11 career games against the Rockets, Edwards made 39 triples, which is 3.5 per game on average.

Minnesota is scoring 12.3 threes per game, while Houston allows 12.4 threes per contest this season. The Rockets allow 3.1 threes per contest to the opposing shooting guards this year. I’m confident that Edwards will drop 3+ shots from beyond the arc.

Fred VanVleet Over 20.5 Points and Assists (-120)

For the second pick in the Rockets vs Timberwolves Player Prop Bets, we have Houston’s guard. Fred VanVleet is averaging 16.6 ppg and a team-high 8.3 apg in a team-high 36.8 minutes per game for the Rockets this season. He combined for 16 PTS and AST in a blowout win against his former team, the Raptors, but given the nature of that game, VanVleet spent only 25 minutes on the floor.

It’s going to be a much tighter affair on Sunday in Minneapolis, so he should log 35+ minutes. Apart from that Toronto tilt, VanVleet combined for 21+ PTS and AST in five of seven games. He will face Mike Conley, who is a solid defender, so I don’t think VanVleet will have an excellent scoring display. I do believe he will dish plenty of assists to the likes of Sengun, Green, and Brooks.

A double-double is not excluded here as well. In 11 career games against the Timberwolves, VanVleet averaged 16.8 ppg and 5.3 apg. Minnesota allows 23.6 ppg and 8.4 apg to the opposing point guards.
