The Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings duke it out at the Golden 1 Center on Sunday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in a rut as they’ve lost seven of their last nine games overall, but they will be looking to stay hot after stopping a four-game skid with a 111-107 win over the Jazz last night. Klay Thompson drained eight 3-pointers to lead the team with 36 points on 14 of 28 shooting, Jordan Poole added 31 points with six assists while Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 47 percent from the field and 20 of 48 from the 3-point line as they struggled to find their offense and fell behind by as many as 21 points in the first half, but they kept their heads and exploded for 66 points in the second half to escape with the much-needed victory to get their season back on track.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have come to life with four wins in their past five games and they will be aiming for a third straight win after sneaking past the Rockets in a 122-117 road win on Friday. Harrison Barnes led the team with 25 points on 10 of 16 shooting, Donte DiVincenzo tallied 19 points with nine rebounds and nine assists while Damian Jones scored 17 points with 17 rebounds and six blocks. As a team, the Kings shot 51 percent from the field and 12 of 28 from the 3-point line as they allowed the Rockets off to a flyer and had to claw their way back from an early 19-point deficit, before they poured in 36 points in the fourth quarter to escape with the narrow win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games, 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a losing record and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Kings are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record, 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Sunday games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the under is 10-4 in the last 14 meetings in Sacramento, the Warriors are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Sacramento and the Warriors are 3-10 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall.

The Warriors have been well below their best lately, but they will be feeling much better after their comeback win over the Jazz last night, while the Kings have sprung to life with four wins in their last five games and they just took down the Rockets are trailing by as many as 19 points early on. A win here would mean much more to the Warriors at this point of the season and I think they can get the job done despite playing this one on zero days’ rest. Give me the Warriors to get the win and cover behind another big game from Thompson.
