Los Angeles Lakers Betting Preview
The Los Angeles Lakers have been in a rut as they’ve lost six of their last 10 games overall and they will be looking to avoid a third straight defeat after falling short to the Bucks in a 105-101 loss on Friday. LeBron James led the team with 26 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists on 10 of 21 shooting, Luka Doncic added 24 points with nine rebounds and nine assists while Jake LaRavia chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Lakers shot 43 percent from the field and 15 of 36 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sloppy start and allowed 37 points in the second quarter to fall behind by 12 points. The Lakers played much better defense in the second half to climb back into the contest. The game looked headed for overtime before James turned it over with the Lakers down by two points and only 1.5 seconds left on the clock.
Sacramento Kings Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in terrible form as they’ve lost 13 of their last 16 games overall, but they will be feeling much better after they snapped an ugly seven-game losing streak with a 111-98 win over the Rockets last night. DeMar DeRozan led the team in scoring with 22 points and six assists on eight of 13 shooting, Zach LaVine added 18 points while Russell Westbrook tallied 15 points with six rebounds and 10 assists. As a team, the Kings shot 48 percent from the field and eight of 23 from the 3-point line. These aren’t impressive numbers, but they played physical defense to keep the game close until the fourth quarter where they outscored the Rockets by 33-22 to come away with the long-overdue win at home.

Kings vs Lakers Prediction
The Lakers are still missing Austin Reaves while the Kings have ruled out Domantas Sabonis and Keegan Murray once again. The Lakers haven’t been at their best lately, but they are slowly getting healthier and they’ve already beaten the Kings twice this season. These teams last met on Dec 28 and it was the Lakers who rolled to a 125-101. The Kings’ Dennis Schroder got suspended for his actions following the game which adds extra spice to the affair and the fact that the Kings actually won last night makes things interesting. I’m expecting a much closer contest in this one, so while I have the Lakers winning again, I like the Kings to hang around and keep this to single digits.
