The Miami Heat and the Sacramento Kings duke it out at the Golden 1 Center on Sunday night.

Miami Heat Betting Preview

The Miami Heat have shown some signs of improvement as they’ve won three of their past five games overall, but they took a step back on Thursday when they got rolled by the Warriors in a 120-100 road defeat. Davion Mitchell led the team with 22 points and eight assists on nine of 18 shooting, Giannis Antetokounmpo added 20 points with 14 rebounds and four assists while Bam Adebayo tallied 18 points with 10 rebounds. As a team, the Heat shot just 41 percent from the field and 13 of 44 from the 3-point line which was good enough to match the Warriors in the first half, but they just had no answer after the Warriors poured in 38 points in the third quarter to have them trailing by double digits the rest of the way. Klay Thompson struggled in this one as he shot just three of 10 from the field for his 11 points while Andrew Wiggins scored just two points on one of six shooting.

Sacramento Kings Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in terrible form as they’ve lost eight of their first nine games and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting trounced by the Spurs in a 124-109 loss on Friday. Darius Acuff Jr led the team with 22 points and eight assists, Domantas Sabonis tallied 17 points with 12 rebounds and five assists while Zach LaVine chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Kings shot 49 percent from the field and 16 of 35 from the 3-point line but they struggled to contain the Spurs from the tipoff and were always fighting a losing battle after allowing 75 points in the first half to trail by as many as 24 points at one stage.

The Heat don’t have any injuries to report, while the Kings are still missing Ben Simmons, Keegan Murray and Maxime Raynaud with De’Andre Hunter listed as questionable.
The Heat looked like they were on a roll before they got trampled by the Wariors in their last game, but they’ve had extra rest as they haven’t played since Thursday and they will like their chances against the ice-cold Kings who have lost their four home games by an average of 14.3 points. The line is a little higher than I thought it would be, but even though the Heat have yet to hit their stride, they should have no problem running past the lesser teams in the league like the Kings.
