The Sacramento Kings travel to the Footprint Center to do battle with the Phoenix Suns on Friday night. Here’s a Suns vs Kings Prediction. This article will include a Suns vs Kings Pick.
Sacramento Kings Betting Preview
The Sacramento Kings have cooled off lately as they’ve lost four of their last five games and they will be hoping to snap a three-game skid after getting trampled by the Warriors in a 130-104 road defeat last night. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 23 points, five rebounds, and seven assists, Keon Ellis added 18 points off the bench while Zach LaVine drained four 3-pointers to finish with 14 points and four assists. As a team, the Kings shot 46 percent from the field and 14 of 37 from the 3-point line, but they were put on the back foot from the start. They were always fighting an uphill battle after getting outscored by 18-30 in the first quarter. The Kings did show some fight to cut a 26-point deficit to just six points, but they couldn’t find any consistent offense outside of DeRozan and got blown away in the fourth quarter. The Kings will take on the Grizzlies after this game.
Phoenix Suns Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns are really getting desperate as they’ve now lost 11 of their last 15 games and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting beaten by the Rockets in a 111-104 loss on Wednesday. Bradley Beal led the team with 25 points on nine of 14 shooting, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant scored 19 points each while Tyus Jones chipped in with 11 points off the bench. As a team, the Suns shot 53 percent from the field and 10 of 28 from the 3-point line, but they were always a step behind the Rockets. They trailed by as many as 17 points in the fourth quarter before they finished with a flurry of points to cut the margin to single digits in the end.
Suns vs Kings Prediction
The Kings are still shorthanded with Domantas Sabonis ruled out with a hamstring injury, while the Suns have ruled out Grayson Allen, and they have Nick Richards and Cody Martin both listed as questionable. The Kings could really do with a win just for their own confidence, but they’ve been struggling and just looked toothless in last night’s big loss to the Warriors. Meanwhile, the Suns have continued their downward spiral with another tough loss despite having all their key players healthy, and they could be missing a bunch of role players for this one. These teams have already met twice this season, with the Kings winning on both occasions, but the Suns are getting desperate for wins now. I think this is a good spot for them to eke out a much-needed win against a Kings squad playing their second road game in two nights.
