The Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors meet Friday in NBA action at the Scotiabank Arena. The Los Angeles Lakers need a win after losing five of their last six games. The Toronto Raptors look to build on their five-game winning streak.

The Lakers are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Raptors are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The over is 5-2 in Lakers last 7 overall. The under is 7-2 in Raptors last 9 overall. The Lakers are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Toronto and 7-20 ATS in the last 27 meetings.

I’m not thrilled to lay big chalk with a Toronto Raptors team that’s been hit or miss all year, but I’ll continue to fade the Lakers for obvious reasons. The Los Angeles Lakers have been rough both SU and ATS all season long, and they get destroyed whenever playing even decent competition. Backing the Lakers just isn’t an option these days and hasn’t been one, pretty much, all year. It’s Raptors or pass for me.
